Skull Patch
So there you are, browsing the Pocono Mountain Leather website, checking out the hot leather babes in the photo album, thinking about taking a trip to the Poconos. You’re browsing through the store and you find this pink skull patch. Well damn, is that not the most bad-ass pink thing you have ever seen? And if not, are you sure you want to mess with the folks there? Just cough up the $4 and be on your way.
Imitation Designer Skull Handbag
I love this cute little skulls and crowns handbag from Torrid! It totally reminds me of the Louis Vuitton style, so I suspect that is intentional on the designer’s part – but you will never see a Louis Vuitton bag with skulls on it! This one is really expensive at $31 – it would be a good price if it wasn’t so small – but it’s still really cute. I’m a little suspicious of the color though…seems like it would be hard to match stuff to that shade of pink. Do you agree?
Got-It-All Business Card Case
It’s not often that Hello Kitty is paired up with skulls, or even pirates – she has a more wholesome image. But this business card case does (just about) exactly that. This case has got it all. It’s pink, it’s covered with bling, it’s got skull-type graphics, and it’s got Hello Kitty! The only thing it doesn’t have is…a purpose. Does anybody use business card cases? I suppose they might be popular in Japan for holding meishi but I think they are rarely used in the western world. And yet I happen to have no idea where all of my many business cards have gotten to, so perhaps it would come in handy after all! Unfortunately I don’t know where to get one because the site where I found this refuses to print sources, but if somebody finds a way to purchase this I’d be happy to put up the link!
Vabene Skull Watch
My wife bought a watch recently. It’s really beautiful, 14k yellow gold and lots of diamonds, but it was $500. For only half that price, she could have gotten this awesome pirate skull watch by Vabene. Sure, it’s only got Swarovski crystals and not diamonds, but it’s PINK and it has a SKULL on it. I can totally see this on the wrist of perkygoth club girls, but it’s also something I would wear if I ever remembered to wear a watch!
Accessorizing with Tarina Tarantino
I love Tarina Tarantino‘s products. If you browse through the jewelry section, there is pink everywhere! A lot of it is subtle but there are some standout pieces like this skull set. The bracelet will set you back $100, the earrings are $70, and the necklace is $325, but they’re cute!
In any case, the skulls are part of the “Memento Mori” collection, which means “Remember you are mortal.” (Maybe they’re mortal, but I’m going to live forever!) I was planning to say “you could probably make these yourself” but I can’t find pink skull beads anywhere on the web, so maybe you do have to get these from Tarina Tarantino! Some of the other stuff might be easy to make, though.
By the way, don’t miss the Hello Kitty collection on the site. There are a number of different motifs, including several bridal accessories like a $500 Hello Kitty tiara and a $138 leg garter. Tarina explains why she likes Hello Kitty, too.
Pink Skulls Bag
This tongue-in-cheek shoulder bag is available from Hannah Zakari, a UK website which itself is decked out entirely in pink! It’s a little expensive, at £30 (about $60), but it’s big at 18×13″ and it’s made out of sturdy cotton. In addition to being fully lined, it’s also machine washable…so if, like me, you have a tendency to get your purse messy – this is a great bag because you can just toss it in the washer with everything else!
