As a result, I can tell you that this Hello Kitty iPod Dock, which sells for ¥19,950, is actually about censored in US dollars. Er, sorry about that, I can’t really tell you due to the sticker shock. Let’s just say it’s a little under $250. Yup, this plain old iPod dock, despite being compatible with only a few models (and not the iPhone at all) and having a remote control, thinks it’s worth $250. The only thing I can come up with that makes it anywhere near worth that is that if you touch Kitty’s ears, you can turn the volume up and down. Still, is that worth about $225 over a regular iPod dock that you’ve put Hello Kitty stickers on? I don’t think so.

No, you would pay $58 for this because you are insanely in love with Juicy Couture. And you need their font on Every. Single. Key. Sorry, but I just find that ridiculous. From what I can tell, people who love Juicy Couture are not the type to seek out a new keyboard. Hell, they may not even know a keyboard can be a fashion statement. I’m aware that I’m stereotyping here – presumably there are Juicy fans out there who want keyboards, or the marketing/R&D folks wouldn’t have come up with this. But $58? Really? Get it here if you must.

Aside from the fact that strawberries are never pink, I just do not like this phone. Having an all-pink phone seems like a good idea, but the execution on this LG model is just not grabbing me. For one thing, I’m not a fan of that shade of pink – it’s bordering on magenta and it’s just too garish for my taste. The red buttons are a huge no-no; why couldn’t they stick with the white that’s used elsewhere on the phone? Even if this phone had the latest and greatest technology, I wouldn’t go for it. There are much more attractive pink phones out there, even ones that don’t cost quite as much as the Vertu.

The PoGo Mobile Printer is an example of such a product, and it comes in pink. But don’t get it – it’s by Polaroid, a brand that has been tarnished by years of shameful products. Of course you remember Polaroid for its instant cameras, so you’d think the mobile photo printer is a good idea – but bear in mind that the old Polaroid went bankrupt in 2001. They have licensed their name to all kinds of crap since then. I used to own two Polaroid JukeJam MP3 players and they were utter crap, made by some scam artist Taiwanese company. Of course they had the Polaroid name, so I thought they were good…but now the name means nothing. So anyway, this item is cute, but don’t get it. There must be other mobile photo printers out there, but they may or may not come in pink.
