Pink Sony Vaio

You probably don’t remember this post from 2007, about a Japanese-only pink Sony Vaio. At the time, there were few computers out there that were pink – now there are a ton of them. And now that includes a Vaio for the U.S. This one checks in right around $500…I guess even full-size laptops are really dropping in cost these days! Get the rest of the scoop over at ChipChick.

PinkyDo Apps

I’m not an iOS user, but if you are, check out PinkyDo – a suite of apps all in pink. I do mean all in pink! There’s currently a secure data manager (for photos, contacts, etc that you don’t want other people to see) and a to-do list manager.

Hello Kitty iPod Dock

Having spent the past summer in Japan, I have learned to mentally convert yen to dollars pretty quickly. As a result, I can tell you that this Hello Kitty iPod Dock, which sells for ¥19,950, is actually about censored in US dollars. Er, sorry about that, I can’t really tell you due to the sticker shock. Let’s just say it’s a little under $250. Yup, this plain old iPod dock, despite being compatible with only a few models (and not the iPhone at all) and having a remote control, thinks it’s worth $250. The only thing I can come up with that makes it anywhere near worth that is that if you touch Kitty’s ears, you can turn the volume up and down. Still, is that worth about $225 over a regular iPod dock that you’ve put Hello Kitty stickers on? I don’t think so.

Juicy Couture Wireless Floppy Keyboard

Why. Why, why, why. Why would you pay $58 for a floppy wireless keyboard? No, you don’t have to pay that because it’s pink. You can get a pink one for much less than that! No, you would pay $58 for this because you are insanely in love with Juicy Couture. And you need their font on Every. Single. Key. Sorry, but I just find that ridiculous. From what I can tell, people who love Juicy Couture are not the type to seek out a new keyboard. Hell, they may not even know a keyboard can be a fashion statement. I’m aware that I’m stereotyping here – presumably there are Juicy fans out there who want keyboards, or the marketing/R&D folks wouldn’t have come up with this. But $58? Really? Get it here if you must.

Pink Mac-Style Keyboard

I like this pink keyboard because it mimics the style of the Macintosh keyboards, that super-slim, low-profile style. I’m exclusively a laptop user at home, but like everyone else, I use a desktop at work. (Most people have docking stations even if a laptop is the guts of the machine.) When I’m using a desktop, I prefer the slim Mac-style keyboard to the chunky, clicky PC-style keyboards. This keyboard is by Saitek and they haven’t announced a price for it yet, but it does come in several colors.

Jill Stuart PSP

The Jill Stuart PSP package is being released in Japan. US users can get a pink PSP from Amazon, but it’s kind of a bright pink. The Jill Stuart package is a lighter pink – they call it blossom pink – and it comes with a bunch of pink accessories. Well, it comes with a case and a cleaning cloth. The memory card, cables, and other stuff are still black. I’m sure you can find pink versions out there, though. And if you, like me, are wondering who Jill Stuart is – here you go.

Fake Hello Kitty G1

When I saw this, I immediately went OMG WTF because I have a G1 and I try to keep up with its development. I hadn’t heard anything about this. It’s supposedly $500 from a site called Hello Kitty Phones, which claims to have modified it with a 7MP camera and the ability to play TV. Um, what? That ridiculousness, plus what looks like a badly done Photoshop job, makes me think this is a big ol’ fake.

Hello Kitty Swarovski Camera For the 35th anniversary of Hello Kitty, Casio Exilim is introducing a new pink camera. With crystals. It produces massive 12.1 megapixel images, and although you can get a plain pink Casio EX-Z2 for $200, the Hello Kitty version will set you back $500. You can buy it (for now) and check out the specs at DreamKitty. Get your credit card out!

Ed Hardy Optical Mouse

Ed Hardy Optical Mouse Why buy a plain optical mouse for $2.25 when you can buy a wireless pink optical mouse for $17.50? Buy wait, why buy that when you can buy the Ed Hardy Optical Mouse, which requires a cord, for $28?! Yes, here at PinkBlog we are all about the Ed Hardy. Yup. We also like the Ed Hardy USB Stick (1GB) for $32! For only $20 more, we like the 4GB version and for just $78 we are in love with the 8GB version! (Picture here).

Ew, wait, no we aren’t. We hate Ed Hardy. Goddamn overpriced crap. But hey, it comes in pink, so…there you go.

Pink Haier TV

Pink Haier TV 22″ is not really that big for a TV. I’m pretty sure my TV is about that size, and it’s practically tiny compared to my friends’ TVs. But if you have a tiny apartment, this might be right for you. Or if you have a huge house and you want a TV in the bathroom or something like that, this might work. It’s 720p so hopefully you get HD in the bathroom! Available at Target for $228.
