Torrid for Breast Cancer

Torrid Heart Bag Not to obsess too much over Torrid, but I want to point out that they’re on the breast cancer awareness month bandwagon. This cute little change purse will hold some coins plus maybe a chapstick, and not much else! It’s perfect for the aforementioned skull purseNational Breast Cancer Foundation. (And thanks to the math homework I’ve been doing recently, I can tell you that is $1.60 for each purse.)

I Love Boobs Key Cover And then there’s this zany item, also from Torrid. It kind of surprised me at first when I saw the thumbnail, because it says I ♥ BOOBS. Moments later, though, I figured out they they were talking about breast cancer – there’s a little pink ribbon on there, too. Unfortunately I’m not sure how popular this $5 rubber key cover will be…who do you know who uses key covers to personalize their keychain? I stick to actual keychains, myself. But still, this might make a good inexpensive gift for your favorite survivor! (And yep, another 20% goes to breast cancer research.)

Imitation Designer Skull Handbag

Imitation Designer Skull Handbag I love this cute little skulls and crowns handbag from Torrid! It totally reminds me of the Louis Vuitton style, so I suspect that is intentional on the designer’s part – but you will never see a Louis Vuitton bag with skulls on it! This one is really expensive at $31 – it would be a good price if it wasn’t so small – but it’s still really cute. I’m a little suspicious of the color though…seems like it would be hard to match stuff to that shade of pink. Do you agree?

Hello Kitty Eyeglasses Case

Hello Kitty Eyeglasses Case This is truly delightful: a Hello Kitty product for people with vision problems that can also be used by people without vision problems! (Can you tell I’ve always liked the little HK contact lens cases but have never needed them?) Anyway, you can store your regular eyeglasses in here, or you can use it for sunglasses! It’s direct from Sanrio though, so I would advise picking it up soon if you want it – they frequently rotate their stock and this may not last forever. (The availability, that is…I’m sure it’s a perfectly durable product!)

Pet Carrier

Pet Carrier Pets on the go need to be carried in comfort, even those that are too big to fit into your little pink purse à la Elle Woods. Hence the need for Kennel Cab’s Pampered Pet Carrier, which is a bit too big to carry by hand on a regular basis, but which does have a shoulder strap so you can at least try to emulate Elle while lugging your collie around. (It works for cats too, of course, but cats don’t exactly have fashion sense, you know?)

CamelBak Hydration Pack

CamelBak Hydration Pack Hydration packs used to be exotic, only for intense sports being played by even more intense people. But now everybody has them, because everybody needs water! Whether it’s for biking, jogging, or kayaking, the CamelBak Charm hydration pack will keep the water flowing while still maintaining pink style. (Hey, how come there aren’t any hot pink kayaks? I must look into this.) It’s $35, and this is a pink product that really is for women – it’s shaped slightly differently than other CamelBak products, so it’ll fit more comfortably over a woman’s shoulders and around her chest.

Rolling Laptop Briefcase

Rolling Laptop Briefcase This rolling bag is everything you need for work or travel. It’s expensive at $230 but it’s pink Italian leather! It’s got a special laptop sleeve inside (no idea if that is also pink) and it has little feet so you can leave it standing up by itself if you’re in a slow-moving line. Roll a little, stand a little…you know how it goes. There’s also a pink leather shoulder strap and handles for when you’re not packing so much stuff that you need to roll along!

Cherry Blossom Suitcase

Cherry Blossom Suitcase I love this cherry blossom suitcase from Flight 001. I’ve actually been to their store but I didn’t see this beauty there; it’s a good thing or I might have bought it! At $325 it’s slightly more expensive than a similar Hello Kitty suitcase I have seen in the Sanrio store, but it’s really beautiful. The problem with hard-sided suitcases, though, is that lately they are likely to push you over the weight limit and you’ll have to pay more when flying; this one is 15 pounds. But hey, you’ll always know it on the baggage claim carousel!

Sakura Bento Boxes

Sakura Two-Tier Bento Box The beautiful people over at J-List (and J-Box, their worksafe site) have picked the best Japanese products to share with the rest of the world. There are a lot of online shops that sell things that are only available in Japan, but J-List tends to get the really good stuff, like this cute little bento box set. Bento actually has a long and storied history, but it’s best known today as an easy way to take your lunch on the go – you can see examples at Vegan Lunch Box.

Sakura Mini Bento Box The set comes split across two products. The two-tier bento has an elastic strap to hold it together and pink chopsticks in their own little case, while the mini bento comes with just the elastic strap (but really is also two tiers). The design is called Sakura, which means cherry blossoms.

Little Laptop Case

Snap Design Laptop Case I just love this cute little laptop case by Snap Design! Little is an accurate descriptor, though – it only holds laptops up to 12.78″ in width. I’m not sure what it’s made of, because the description only mentions that it’s vegan. It would be nice if it was actually pink pleather, but I just cannot tell for sure. There are pockets in the front and back for your power cord or other accessories, although it doesn’t look like it will expand gracefully. But I thought it was so cute I had to share, and if I had a tiny laptop I would be happy to carry it around in this case.

An Awful Outfit

Okay, let’s put together a really bad outfit. I used to do this with the nice outfits that were in catalogs so I could see how much they really cost, but this is an all-pink version, so it’s guaranteed to be bad.
