I’m not sure if the picture at right is the actual product, because it’s got a Playboy bunny on it – but it is an example of what a pink Hummer limo looks like. And check out the interior, it’s pink too! You can only get this in the UK from Midlands Limos. It can reportedly hold 16 of your friends and there are multiple flat screen TVs and an audio system. No word on how much this lovely number costs but it’s bound to be a lot! I can really only see this working for a night out on the town – it’s too garish for a wedding and probably too expensive for a prom – even if you split the cost 16 ways. But it would be great for driving around laughing with your friends, assuming you have enough cash to rent it!

While you and I may not think twice about being sold a package containing multiple items, kitting is a rather big business. It involves just what you’d think – manufacturers take various parts and put them together in a single unit (often with its own box or bag) to be sold as one piece. The point is to make life easier…if you need a screwdriver, you look in your pink tool kit, of course. And if you are trapped in your vehicle and need to break the window to escape a life-threatening situation, you pull out the glass hammer from your pink car kit, slice through your seatbelt, smash the window, and crawl to safety. The same kit also has tools for less urgent situations, including an air freshener, jumpstart cables (in red and black), and an ice scraper. But it doesn’t stop there! Oh my god, this is not just any pink limo. This is the Love Limo. It’s operated by a wedding service in Bristol that caters to same-sex weddings. If you are in Bristol, Wales, or Southwest England and you want a totally faboo limousine, you can call up Pink Weddings and ask for their glittery pink limo! The sides could have been a little more imaginative but I adore the heart-shaped windows in back!

This little power inverter is so useful. A power inverter converts from DC to AC power, which means you plug this little box into your car’s cigarette lighter – it works in boats too – and you instantly have regular outlets that you can plug all your stuff into. If it wasn’t so expensive ($44) I’d get it, because I have some devices that I don’t have a car charger for. I think it would come in most handy for using a laptop in the car – your passenger could play a game, or you could use it as a GPS device and have your computer read out directions for you.

I have always loved the DeLorean from Back to the Future – I love those gullwing doors. Even though this original Pink Panther car has funky doors, I don’t like it – it’s a little too strange, and anyway, it’s not street legal! It was sold on eBay a couple of months ago, but I’m a little confused by the details on that. Coolest-Gadgets.com says it was starting at £75,000 and refers to an invalid item link, and this site refers to an auction by Flogit4U, so I found this one, but the maximum bid was about £15,000 and it didn’t meet the reserve. So I have no idea what happened to that car, but if you want your own, you might be able to find the model car version out there somewhere!
