Pink House

I wonder if Angelyne reads this blog? This was her house, up for sale a couple of months ago. According to Curbed LA, it went for almost $600,000!

Ed Hardy Optical Mouse

Ed Hardy Optical Mouse Why buy a plain optical mouse for $2.25 when you can buy a wireless pink optical mouse for $17.50? Buy wait, why buy that when you can buy the Ed Hardy Optical Mouse, which requires a cord, for $28?! Yes, here at PinkBlog we are all about the Ed Hardy. Yup. We also like the Ed Hardy USB Stick (1GB) for $32! For only $20 more, we like the 4GB version and for just $78 we are in love with the 8GB version! (Picture here).

Ew, wait, no we aren’t. We hate Ed Hardy. Goddamn overpriced crap. But hey, it comes in pink, so…there you go.

Etsy Color Tool

I don’t post about Etsy too often, because I like to post things everyone has a chance of getting, and Etsy is a largely one-off site. But I wanted to mention Shop by Color over there. Let it load and then hover over the upper right corner of the grid…click to find pink items!

Star Tattoo

Star Tattoo I have been browsing star tattoos like crazy (over on BMEink) and I came across this great pink tattoo. Of course I had to share it. :) No idea who the owner is, but it was done by Happ of Acute Body Arts in Connecticut.

Crochet-Covered Bike

Crochet-Covered Bike Everybody and their cousin has already seen this, I’m sure, but I wanted to include it anyway. I’ve heard that the work is mostly crochet, but I think I might see some knitting and there’s definitely felted bits. According to quotes from the artist, Theresa Honeywell, she uses cheap acrylic yarn to be closer to the old-school granny afghans and such. Personally, I’d use cheap acrylic yarn because it’s CHEAP!

iWrapz

I wrote about pink skins not too long ago, when I was deciding on a new one for my Blackberry Curve. I did end up getting one at the time, but then my phone got run over by a car, and the skin was destroyed…along with the phone! So I bought an Otterbox case, and unfortunately they don’t make the pink Otterboxes for Blackberry Curve. So my phone is boring, but protected!

Anyway, I wanted to talk about some other Blackberry Curve skins. Specifically, as you can see to the left, the Charmmy Kitty skin! I am absolutely in love with it. It’s not quite as full-coverage as other skin companies make theirs, but hello? It’s Charmmy Kitty, who cares?! The Charmmy Kitty skin for Sidekick Slide is even more awesome, but I only know one person who has a Slide, and she isn’t really keen on Hello Kitty stuff!

Actually, if Charmmy Kitty isn’t your thing, there’s also a pink Betty Boop skin, and a Go Pink design – that one’s on a Nano, but actually they seem to share the designs across all the products. There’s a tie-dye Hello Kitty skin and a gay pride skin too!

Pink Skins

At left you can see one of the awesome pink skins available from DecalGirl. I’m thinking of getting that exact skin for my Blackberry Curve; I already have Pink Tranquility but I’m itching for another one!

DecalGirl offers pink skins for tons of electronic gadgets. You can put crop circles on your Wii, retro flowers on your Xbox Guitar Hero controller, squares on your laptop…I highly recommend checking them out, they are much cheaper than fully custom shops like MyTego.

BTW, if you want a pink Blackberry Curve (also being called the Pinkberry, but that’s ice cream), check out this photo gallery from Engadget and see if you like it!

PinkTheme.com

PinkTheme.com It’s one thing to restrict your web surfing to only pink-themed sites, but if you want to take it to a whole new level of obsession, go visit PinkTheme.com. Whether you want to keep things simple and only make the tabs pink, or go all-out and make Firefox completely pink, you can do it all at PinkTheme.com. For those of you who are a little wary of turning your drab gray browser into a cotton candy fiesta, you can create a PinkHome search engine or use the SearchStyle page for your searching needs. Regardless of which search option you pick, you’ll get Google results all the time – it’s just a matter of making your favorite search engine a little pinker.

London 2012 Logo

London 2012 Logo So this is the logo for the 2012 Olympics. It’s pink, or at least fuschia…but that is about all I can identify about it. Is this supposed to represent anything? Is it supposed to say anything? What is that dot in the middle for, is that an extension on the second “2″ or is it just a dot, or…? I swear, this thing is really strange. The website doesn’t shed any light on how the logo was chosen, it only says that it will be “instantly recognisable amongst all age groups, all around the world.” Also, I notice that at the bottom of that page there are “standard colors” listed, so this logo might not always be pink, but that’s what I’ve seen it in mostly so far. If you want to learn more about the logos and mascots of the modern Olympics, visit Al Daver’s site or the Olympic Games logos category on Wikipedia.
