School
I just want to say that PinkBlog is NOT on hiatus. I plan to return to daily posting as of this weekend.
No commentsPiggy Belt
Sorry for slacking off on the daily posting…I’m trying, but school is keeping me busy! Anyway, here is an adorable little “>piggy belt from ShanaLogic. It’s the kind of thing you’d expect to be really expensive but it’s only $16! Unfortunately it’s “not recommended for waists over 42 inches” which puts it out for bigger girls. But for those of you who can fit into it, it’s really adorable and adds a little spark to your outfit. ShanaLogic is actually a pretty cool site, lots of fun DIY-type accessories and such…except you didn’t do them yourself!
Gorilla Suit
So I’m looking at a blog, and someone mentions the pink credit card costume. Hmm, not bad. But I thought to myself, this isn’t completely pink. You have to wear a lot of black. So I set out looking for a better pink costume. I looked at the sassy cupid, the sexy cowboy, the poodle skirt, the flamingo…and then I saw it. The pink gorilla suit. I don’t think there is anything better than a pink gorilla suit. In fact, I should probably just stop the blog, because nothing beats a pink gorilla suit. The pink gorilla suit trumps all. I have discovered the ultimate pink thing, I can die happy. And if I had $120, I’d get it and die happy in a pink gorilla suit.
PolyVore: Pink Thing
I made this collection at PolyVore, a website I just discovered a few minutes ago. It lets you make collections of outfits, and you can arrange them the way you might find in a fashion magazine. It has a few klutzy things about it – I can’t get rid of the arms that came with those pants – but it’s actually really nifty. You can use their stuff or add things from the web, which means you can do everything from designing wedding outfits to making a group uniform for a team or club. I can see myself having lots of fun with this site!
Laptop Desk
From what I can tell, the Futura laptop desk is a flippity floppity plastic pad thing that’s supposed to protect both your lap (from an overheated machine) and your laptop (from…um…you?). But then again, you can also use it on a table. It positions your laptop at an angle to make typing easier. Aw hell, I’m just parroting the website. As I write this, I’m slouching on my bed and my laptop is on my LAP where it belongs. It’s not too hot, in fact it’s quite comfortable. Considering that they want $50 for the painted desks, I’m going to stick with what I’ve got. Which is to say, nothing. But hey, if you want a pink laptop desk, there you go.
Pharos GPS
I have absolutely no reason to endorse the Pharos GPS 150 for its direction-finding skills, its maps, or its understandability. I have heard that Garmin, Magellan, TomTom, and many other brands are excellent. However, I can tell you one thing about this GPS device: it’s pink. So if you’re looking to save about $70 over the pink nuvi by Garmin, check out the $99 Pharos. I make no promises that it will get you where you’re going…but it’s pink!
Samsung G600
Man, how come people in Japan always get such cool pink stuff and we don’t? Wait, what? This isn’t from Japan? It’s from Europe? Well damn! Thanks to Overseas Electronics, Americans can still pick up the Samsung G600 in pink. It’s not that great, though…no QWERTY keyboard. But it’s pretty, and it has a 5MP camera. Even the fancy new Blackberry Bold only has a 2MP camera, so if you want to take good pictures with your phone, the G600 is worth getting. It’s a GSM phone, so it should work with many carriers in the United States. You can check out the other capabilities of the Samsung G600 here.
