Microsoft Mouse
If anybody out there is still using a mouse and you feel compelled to have a pink one, but you want Microsoft quality (?) then look no further than the wireless notebook optical mouse 3000. For just $30 you can say you own something in a color called “dragon fruit.” I do like that the USB stick of this wireless mouse snaps right under it when it’s not in use. If you’re using this in a desktop, you can just leave the USB dongle plugged in, but if you’re on the go with a laptop, that snap-in feature will be very handy. It also comes in pomegranate, aloe, milk chocolate, and Creme Brulee. (Which they have accented properly, but I’m too tired to whip out ye olde charmap.)
Sparkle Calculator
Honestly this calculator seems like a piece of junk, but it just has that essential faboo that made me want to post it. And then I found out it was $275, so I knew I had to post it! As far as I can tell, it’s a very basic calculator – this one is $20 and has pretty much the same features – but then they added some Swarovski crystals to it, and poof! You have a $275 calculator! Maybe you can use it to find out what your budget needs to be now that you’ve spent $275 on a junky calculator.
Pink Planes
Does anybody know what airline this is?! According to the photographer, who gave permission for me to use the picture, this is at Vidrasau Airport in Romania.
This pink plane is easily identified – it’s from Delta, in honor of breast cancer awareness. The plane was introduced in September 2006, and it was used at least temporarily on regular flights. No word on where the plane is today, though.
Fabulous Pink Bass
When I was in high school and college, I used to play double bass. Since then I’ve had a soft spot for the instrument, especially when girls play it. Perhaps that’s who’s behind the fabulous pink bass seen at the Dallas Guitar Show in April! The picture is originally by Traveling Fools of America, who kindly gave permission for me to use it on PinkBlog. Thanks, TC!
Pink Skins
At left you can see one of the awesome pink skins available from DecalGirl. I’m thinking of getting that exact skin for my Blackberry Curve; I already have Pink Tranquility but I’m itching for another one!
DecalGirl offers pink skins for tons of electronic gadgets. You can put crop circles on your Wii, retro flowers on your Xbox Guitar Hero controller, squares on your laptop…I highly recommend checking them out, they are much cheaper than fully custom shops like MyTego.
BTW, if you want a pink Blackberry Curve (also being called the Pinkberry, but that’s ice cream), check out this photo gallery from Engadget and see if you like it!
1 commentAnother Hello Kitty MP3 Player
What’s that? Yesterday’s super-cheap Hello Kitty MP3 player didn’t wow you? Well, here’s another one, and no surprise – it’s also from Spectra. This one isn’t expandable, but it does come with 1GB of memory, which is enough for about 250 songs. It also has a voice recorder, though I’m not sure how long you can record – I doubt you can record something really big though. Get it at Target for $40!
Cheap Hello Kitty MP3 Player
Ah, Spectra, how I love you. You make a million Hello Kitty gadgets and I want more than half of them. And yet they are so hard to find! I had your Hello Kitty iPod car charger once upon a time, but it crapped out on me and I haven’t been able to find another. But your tiny digital photo frame/MP3 player is available from Best Buy for just $20! It’s in the outlet though, so anybody who wants it will have to act fast – I’m sure it won’t last long.
If anybody is wondering, this thing has enough memory to hold about 10 songs -that is, it only has 64MB of memory. It can take up to a 2GB SD/MMC card, though, and those are pretty cheap, so you can make it hold as much as an iPod Shuffle. And it’s adorable and it has Hello Kitty on it and it comes with earphones. What are you waiting for, it’s $20!! What am I waiting for?!
1 commentThe Cone
It has been a LONG time since I’ve featured anything in the Adult Items category. But since I was talking about vibrating pink things yesterday, this seemed an appropriate time to mention The Cone. Because this blog is intended to be work-safe, I’m not going to tell you what to do with it. It’s cone-shaped, and it vibrates…okay? (If you haven’t figured out by now that this blog isn’t targeted toward kids, now you know that too. It’s probably okay to look at with kids around, but I’ve featured all kinds of stuff that isn’t for kids.) Anyway, the Cone is a really pricey thing-that-it-is. You can get other things that do the same job for cheaper. But if you have a Sex and the City type crowd to brag about these to, then the Cone will definitely make your friends jealous.
Vibrating Head Massager
Here is a pink thing that I don’t want: a vibrating head massager. For one thing, I find those devices more like torture than relief, and I am not interested in having a vibrator ON MY HEAD. In fact, this thing is so bizarrely shaped that you can’t use it anywhere that vibration would be desired. By the way, I don’t think the button is yellow, as it appears in this picture. I’ve seen this device elsewhere and it looks silver in that picture, yet it appears to be exactly the same product, right down to the price. So if you like creepy head-grabbing metal tongs, by all means sign up! Me, I’ll stick to other vibrating pink things…
Pink Unicorn Scrub Top
I’m working in a pediatric hospital unit this week and next week, so I’ve been seeing a lot of scrubs around. I’m an interpreter, so I don’t get to wear scrubs myself, but if I did, I would totally grab this pink unicorn V-neck top for only $11! And of course I’d need a matching pair of pants, so I’d go with these $8 pink scrub pants. I think it must actually be pretty cool to wear scrubs every day…so easy to coordinate tops and bottoms and you never have to worry about anybody showing you up by dressing better than you!
