Hot Cup Holder
Sure, it’s easy to grab a cardboard holder when you’re buying a drink at Starbucks, but it’s not particularly green, is it? Now you can be green and pink! The Diamond Life sells holders for hot cups as well as for cold cups. Paris Hilton has been spotted with a $286 model. I never really saw the need for cold cup holders, but the hot ones can be very helpful. Unfortunately they’re also expensive…the one pictured here is $25 for a little strip of padded fabric with some crystals on it.
Spendy vs. Thrifty: Sequined Clutch
I do this sometimes – post cheap versions of a very expensive item. This time it’s a hot pink sequined clutch. Now, admittedly, I haven’t been able to do it perfectly with this one, but I wanted to share anyway.
| Here’s the spendy one: From Bergdorf-Goodman, $225 |
Here’s the thrifty one: From Sephora, $18 |
The color is slightly off, and the design is slightly off, but it’s a pink sequined clutch and you can save over $200. Isn’t it worth it?

World Travel Adapter
New from the folks who brought you pink kits in the past is the world travel adapter. I used to work at a store that sold these, and people were constantly asking which one was right for their trip. Now there’s no need to wonder, because you can easily pick up the travel adapter kit. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to include a Japanese adapter, but the European, UK, US, and Australia/NZ adapters should get you pretty far. Just not all the way to Japan.
A Cute Vespa!
After classes today, I was walking back toward my car and I saw this cute little pink Vespa locked up near the gym building! How super-convenient is it that you can just drive this little thing right up to the door of wherever you’re going? And Vespas are adorable as it is, but you make one in bubblegum pink and you’ve got a real heart-stopping combination! I think it might be the Granturismo model but it’s hard to tell…they all look kind of alike to me. Judging by eBay results, these are pretty affordable too – a few thousand dollars. They’d be great for short trips to the grocery store, assuming you can find somewhere to put the groceries! (Excuse the camera phone picture, by the way – that was with a Sidekick 3, but I just got home and started using my new Blackberry Curve, so if I see the Vespa again I’ll take another picture!)
