Boutique Monopoly Set
I never really fell in love with Monopoly, because games always took too damn long. But if you want your kids to learn the value of buying and selling plastic buildings and cardboard properties, you could give them the $30 pink Monopoly set which is the “Boutique Edition” – the houses have turned into shops, and the hotels have turned into malls. The dice are pink, the tokens are “funky” and “just for girls,” and paying taxes has turned into paying your cell phone bills. It appears to be a merging of Monopoly with the classic 80s game Girl Talk, which I used to play by myself because I was an only child with few friends. (Ahem.)
