Haurex Pink Watch

Haurex Teenager Watch in Pink Despite its silly name, the Haurex Teenager watch, in pink, is for anyone who wants their watch to have a pink plastic band, a mother of pearl dial, and Swarovski crystals around the face. It’s actually not too expensive, $115, which is about what I’d expect for something like this. (Then again, I’d also expect something like this to be at Claire’s for $13.99.) Anyway, it is a pretty glam watch. It also comes in white, for a dollar less…I have no idea why. The same site, Forzieri, has a number of other pink watches from Haurex. Some of my favorites are the $138 cocktail watch and the La Mostra which is $263.

Nano Visor

Nano Visor For $16, you can get your iPod wires off your neck thanks to the Nano Visor from iXoundwear. Thanks to its innovative spool system, you won’t have to have wires hanging down when you’re listening to music. The company also offers a version for the second generation iPod shuffle, but that seems a little counterintuitive to me – can’t you just jam the wires under your cap and clip the shuffle onto the side of your hat? Anyway, if your chosen sport doesn’t involve much bouncing and bobbing (like if you’re a cyclist maybe, but then shouldn’t you be wearing a helmet?) you could get this cap and not worry about using your hands to hold your Nano or those pesky cords constantly attacking you.

Boutique Monopoly Set

Boutique Edition Monopoly Set I never really fell in love with Monopoly, because games always took too damn long. But if you want your kids to learn the value of buying and selling plastic buildings and cardboard properties, you could give them the $30 pink Monopoly set which is the “Boutique Edition” – the houses have turned into shops, and the hotels have turned into malls. The dice are pink, the tokens are “funky” and “just for girls,” and paying taxes has turned into paying your cell phone bills. It appears to be a merging of Monopoly with the classic 80s game Girl Talk, which I used to play by myself because I was an only child with few friends. (Ahem.)

Pink Attaché Case

Zero Halliburton Pink Attache Case Even though this is made by a company called Zero Halliburton, I don’t think it’s associated with that Halliburton. So when you’re looking for an attaché case (aka briefcase) to carry around the secret codes you need to blow up the world unlock your fancy car, you can turn to ZH for their pink aluminum product. You can buy it from eBags for $400, and they’ll donate 10% of the purchase to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation – they do this with most of the pink bags they have in stock. Or you can pinch pennies and buy it for $200 from Luggage.com – it certainly seems ot be the exact same product. Oh, and don’t you love the Lucite handle? I do!

Hello Kitty Vitamins

Hello Kitty Vitamins This product is for children – gummy vitamins in a Hello Kitty bottle. It’s made by Spectra, which also makes a FM transmitter for iPod that I used to have – still have, actually, but it’s broken. Anyway, there are 60 vitamins to a bottle, and they come in strawberry, cherry, and orange. They’re presumably only suitable for children, though, because they won’t have enough nutrients for adults. Also, they are not kosher. I’m not sure where to get them online, but you can apparently pick them up in some Target stores. If you really can’t give these up to your kids, you can take them yourself, but follow some advice first.

Hard-Drive Stereo System

Sony NAS-D55HD Stereo System Now listen up! If you want cool music pumped out of your pink speakers, the Sony D55HD is for you! As far as I know, it’s only available in Japan, but as near as I can make out from the Japanese site, it’s pretty cool. (I don’t read Japanese, so I’m depending on Google Translate.) The stereo uses Gracenote to pick up CDDB information, so you can put in a CD and it will automatically find the song info, assuming you have it hooked up to your network. It’s wireless network-aware too, which means you can have your computer upstairs play the music that’s stored on your stereo’s hard drive downstairs. You can hook up an iPod (or other player) to it, and it will automatically sync all your songs to its hard drive. So far the price is listed as “upcoming” but I’ve seen reports that the 250GB version will cost about $1000, though the 80GB version will presumably cost less.

Hetty the Vacuum Cleaner

Hetty the Vacuum Cleaner Most people know Henry, the smiling little vacuum cleaner who is popular because he fits into small spaces – we took that picture on a cruise ship, for example. But now there’s his friend Hetty! (Maybe she’s his sister or his girlfriend, I don’t know.) Hetty has all the same features that Henry does, just a different look. She’s the same price as Henry, about $175. Why not welcome this lovely girl into your house?

Gun-Shaped Hair Dryer

Gun-Shaped Hair Dryer This is not a gun. It is a hair dryer. Yes, that’s right, a hair dryer. For only $35, you can get the Western Dryer from…Japan, of course. This is not a good idea, in my opinion. If you live anywhere but Japan, it has to get through customs, so you better hope the maker includes a pamphlet explaining how it works, or it’s going to get confiscated. If it reaches your house, you have to leave it there forever: any transportation security official will give you a really hard time for this. But hey, if you’ve always wanted the feeling of holding a gun to your head like you’re planning to commit suicide, this is the product for you.

Lip Gloss Phone Charm

Lip Gloss Phone Charm I often find myself without any kind of lip color, because I’m constantly switching from my purse to my backpack to just carrying stuff in my pockets. More than once, I have stopped at the drugstore on my way somewhere to buy cheap lipstick, just so I don’t go completely without makeup. (I rarely wear anything, so putting on lipstick makes it look like I’m dressed up.) But Dorothy Perkins has come up with a lip gloss phone charm that, as a bonus, benefits breast cancer research in the UK. It’s about $4. They have several other related products, including a little pair of pink tweezers!

Pink Princess Bed

Pink Princess Bed Okay, raise your hand if you would have loooooved this bed as a child. *raises hand* That’s what I thought. This is a pink bed, people – how much more perfect does it get? It’s the Princess Toddler Cot by KidKraft, which also happens to make a matching table, vanity, and bookcase! If you want to buy this comfortable cot for your little girl – I don’t think it will hold an adult – you can do so through Skymall, where it’s $200.
