Bare bulbs hurt your eyes - it’s essential to have a lampshade over a bulb. And what better choice than the Orion hanging lamp, which will spread diffuse pink light throughout the room? I’m not sure if it actually makes light seem pink, but it seems like a sort of “external party bulb” type thing, like those blue lightbulbs you can get that make blue light. I think the rose one is better than the magenta one personally, but the magenta one might have a more dramatic effect. It’s about the size of a basketball though - 12″ diameter - so you should make sure to hang it with enough room so you don’t clonk your head on it!
