Basketball Team Watches

Washington Wizards Watch No matter what your favorite NBA basketball team is, you can find a pink watch celebrating them at Fan’s Edge. I’ve featured the Washington Wizards here because that’s my home team (though I haven’t seen them play since they were the Bullets!) but you can get the Denver Nuggets, the New York Knicks, the Phoenix Suns, anybody at all. They all have full-color logos in the center, as in this Milwaukee Bucks watch, but the majority of the watch is pink!

These really are for women and kids, though – the maximum wrist size is 6″. So if you can’t wrap a dollar bill around your wrist, you can’t wear this watch, either.

Hello Kitty Shake Mixer

Hello Kitty Shake Mixer Further evidence that everything you could ever need in your life is available with Hello Kitty on it: the Hello Kitty shake mixer. Just put Kitty’s – um, appendage – in your powdered drink, add water, and turn her on. Instant milkshake! I could actually conceive of using this myself because I sometimes have various shake things, but I don’t think I could conceive of paying $35 for it. But still, just in case you doubted that you could outfit your entire kitchen in Hello Kitty, there it is!

Pet Carrier

Pet Carrier Pets on the go need to be carried in comfort, even those that are too big to fit into your little pink purse à la Elle Woods. Hence the need for Kennel Cab’s Pampered Pet Carrier, which is a bit too big to carry by hand on a regular basis, but which does have a shoulder strap so you can at least try to emulate Elle while lugging your collie around. (It works for cats too, of course, but cats don’t exactly have fashion sense, you know?)

CamelBak Hydration Pack

CamelBak Hydration Pack Hydration packs used to be exotic, only for intense sports being played by even more intense people. But now everybody has them, because everybody needs water! Whether it’s for biking, jogging, or kayaking, the CamelBak Charm hydration pack will keep the water flowing while still maintaining pink style. (Hey, how come there aren’t any hot pink kayaks? I must look into this.) It’s $35, and this is a pink product that really is for women – it’s shaped slightly differently than other CamelBak products, so it’ll fit more comfortably over a woman’s shoulders and around her chest.

Why Girls Like Pink

Just breezing in real quick before crashing, I have more college orientation tomorrow! Time has a story called Why Girls Like Pink. Unfortunately, unless I’m missing something, it doesn’t actually say anything about pink. It’s actually claiming that girls may be “biologically programmed” to prefer redder shades of blue, as opposed to greener shades of blue. Huh? How does this justify the pink craze? More research is clearly needed!

Spring Scale

Pink Spring Scale When I saw the shocking pink spring scale, I immediately thought of dieting. Perhaps that’s just because I’ve been on a diet for several years now, or perhaps it’s because I don’t cook – either way, I thought of dieting. But according to the site that’s selling it, they can also be used for baking and calculating roasting times. I have no idea how you would use it for baking – surely you can just convert any amounts in the recipe, right? I guess it’s good for calculating roasting times, I can sort of see how that would work, though I don’t know enough about it to be sure. Anyway, if you need it for measuring diet portions or any other reason, it’s a great addition to make your kitchen totally pink!

HK Visa

Hello Kitty Visa Credit Card I am reluctant to bring you this product, because I tried to obtain it and failed. And yet I feel I would be remiss in my duties as a blogger of all things pink if I left it out. I’m talking about the official Hello Kitty credit card, a Visa issued by Bank of America. When I originally applied a couple of years ago, there were no benefits with the card – you just got to carry Hello Kitty around in your wallet and see her smiling mouthless face every time you visited a cash register. Now, though, Sanrio credit card holders can participate in the WorldPoints program and earn a point per dollar spent. Additionally, after making a qualifying purchase, new members will also get an exclusive business card case – sadly not the sparkly one! (I’ve also seen the offer with a change purse attached, but currently they’re offering a business card case.)

Toshiba U103

Toshiba U103 Music Player The Toshiba U103 music player comes in 24 colors, which is why I’m mentioning it: because there are no fewer than three shades of pink! It’s currently only available in Japan, and it runs about $120. It appears to also be known as the GigaBeat, as seen on the device itself.

Pink PC Kit

Pink PC Kit I hate to say it, but it looks to me like this is a useless pink kit. I don’t know what possessed the pink toolbox people to come up with this, but it really doesn’t belong in a “kit” at all. The Pink PC Kit contains:

  1. A mousepad
  2. A wireless mouse (Bluetooth)
  3. A USB receiver for the mouse

So it’s basically a wireless mouse. That’s about it. Oh, and a mousepad, which isn’t even necessary in the age of optical mice. And for this they want $36! I’d give this one a pass even if I had a desktop computer and could use a regular mouse.

Got-It-All Business Card Case

Got-It-All Business Card Case It’s not often that Hello Kitty is paired up with skulls, or even pirates – she has a more wholesome image. But this business card case does (just about) exactly that. This case has got it all. It’s pink, it’s covered with bling, it’s got skull-type graphics, and it’s got Hello Kitty! The only thing it doesn’t have is…a purpose. Does anybody use business card cases? I suppose they might be popular in Japan for holding meishi but I think they are rarely used in the western world. And yet I happen to have no idea where all of my many business cards have gotten to, so perhaps it would come in handy after all! Unfortunately I don’t know where to get one because the site where I found this refuses to print sources, but if somebody finds a way to purchase this I’d be happy to put up the link!
