This just might be one of the handiest ways to share your music with friends or just play it for yourself without headphones. This little Tripod speaker will work with just about any iPod - though I think my 80GB iPod Video would be too heavy for it - and it will also work with other MP3 players by plugging into the headphone port. The little cap on the top is amusing, I guess it’s so you don’t accidentally stab yourself in the eye with the speakers? It definitely seems like something that would get lost easily. The specs are a little confusing - it either works with 2 AAA batteries, or one AA battery, but I can’t figure out which.
