Tatung Monitor/TV
Sorry I haven’t been posting, the past couple of days were insanely busy at work and I was exhausted when I got home. Anyway, I’ve never heard of Tatung, but I like them already. Their LCD TV/monitor comes in pink! It’s only 17 inches, so as TVs go it’s pretty small, but it makes for a good sized-monitor. It is capable of HDTV, though of course that requires both a set-top box and subscription to HDTV channels. (I haven’t bothered with high-def TV myself because I’m perfectly happy with the regular TV I’ve got right now.) Oddly enough, the resolution of this device only goes up to 1280×1024, which just seems small by modern monitor standards - aren’t there much higher resolutions out there? So I’m not sure that this is good for a monitor or a TV, since it is kind of small for both applications, but it is pink! Unfortunately I’m not sure where you could get it - WalMart lists it at $248 but then says it’s not available online - perhaps check your local store?

Tatung’s got pretty decent monitors. My monitor at work is one of theirs, and I haven’t had any problems with it in the 8 years I’ve had it!
