Komachi Knife
When I first spotted the pink meat knife I thought it was cool but perhaps a little silly. I like that the whole thing is pink, not just the handle, but I thought the pink blade made it too cutesy - and given that you can stab somebody with one of these, cute is not necessarily a good thing. But then I discovered that it’s part of the Komachi line of color-coded knives which are intended to enhance food safety by keeping you from mixing up your knives and using them for unintended purposes. The cutouts on the handle - this one has a cow, a duck, etc. - remind you what you should be using that knife for while you’re cooking.
What color is the knife with the ex-husband/wife/partner/etc. on it?! Can I get one?
